Our plug-n-play, 4-piece Driveshaft Adapter Kit will allow you to use Tesla's awesome power to run the stock solid front/rear axles of your existing vehicle. Run driveshaft directly to stock RWD axle or even your transfer case for stock AWD. You can now harness the full wrath of the Tesla Model 3/Y Rear Drive Unit that is normally split between two CV half-shafts, to turn one driveshaft. Mount the adapted Tesla drive unit longitudinally, and then "just add driveshaft."
NOTE: Due to the design of the Model 3/Y inverter casting there is insufficient clearance to install it with the flange on the inverter side. This product only works with the driveshaft flange installed on the motor side of the drive unit.
This is a complete DIY installation kit with instructional video. No cutting, drilling or fabrication required. Thus there will be no need to pack up and ship a Tesla drive unit anywhere, and likewise no requirement to purchase the entire drive unit through us.
